pamusb-tools software package provides dummy transitional package for pamusb-common, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pamusb-tools
pamusb-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pamusb-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pamusb-tools *
You will get with pamusb-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
